Corridor Arts Trail and Belper Food Festival July 2012

July 2nd 2012 - work is being installed in venues around Belper this week.  
I will have a painting in the window of Briggs and Sayers Solicitors on the A6 opposite the pedestrian crossing.  The theme is to re-use a piece of work.  The work is a large canvas and has quite a long history having been abandoned many years ago.  It has been reworked for the Corridor Arts trail.

I paint portraits from life.  I have had to recruit another model to rework this piece.

Belper Open Houses - 2nd & 3rd June 2012

Despite the terrible weather Julie Claire (sculptor) and I enjoyed meeting all our visitors  during this weekend.  We had a great time, some wonderful comments and good sales.  Thanks also to Hilary for house sitting.  I only managed to see  three other venues in the hour I took off during the weekend.  There was some excellent work.

Here is hoping for better weather next year!
